Billing and Plans

Billing and Plans

Billing explains what the workspace is subscribed to and what has been charged. Usage explains how the workspace consumes its included allowance.

These concepts should remain separate.

Subscriptions

The Billing page provides subscription information for the active workspace.

Depending on the plan, it can include details such as:

  • Plan
  • Monthly price
  • Included sites
  • Included seats
  • Included AI allowance
  • Usage allowance
  • Queue limits
  • Support tier

Current billing cycle

Review the current billing period to understand which subscription charges and adjustments belong to that cycle.

Billing breakdown

A billing statement can include:

  • Monthly plan charge
  • Top-up purchases
  • Account credits
  • Known subtotal/total
  • Included allowance information

Top-ups

A top-up adds additional usable allowance to the workspace.

Top-ups are separate from the recurring plan allowance.

Review:

  • Amount purchased
  • Purchase/record date
  • Monetary amount
  • Remaining top-up balance

Account credits

Account credits are monetary billing adjustments.

They are different from usage credits.

The terminology should remain explicit so users do not confuse a billing credit with a unit of product usage.

Invoices

Use the Invoices tab to review billing records associated with the workspace.

An invoice can include:

  • Date
  • Number
  • Amount
  • Payment status

Plan allowance

Your plan determines the usage allowance and limits available to the workspace.

Usage should be reviewed from the dedicated Usage page rather than relying only on Billing.

When an allowance is exhausted

Depending on the workspace configuration, further eligible actions may require an available top-up or the next allowance reset.

Check Usage to understand which resource consumed the allowance.

Billing permissions

Billing and subscription changes should be limited to members with the appropriate workspace permissions.

Terminology

Usage credits — the product usage unit
Top-up credits — additional purchased usage credits
Account credit — a monetary billing adjustment
